The Thompson Duo is a husband and wife union founded through music. A career that spans two plus decades professionally and, perform over 150 shows annually. We have performed for crowds ranging from 50 to 15,000 plus.
Throughout our career we have shared the stage with professional acts such as 38 Special, Eddie Money, FogHat, Cheap Trick, Enuff Zunff, Ratt, and Bad Company. Filling the house at some of the more notable venues in the Midwest... and Southern United States. The Double Door, Thurston's, The Brat Stop, The Elbo Room, Talbott Tavern and Navy Pier, to name a few. We are comfortable playing in small intimate setting to some of the largest festivals in America. We cover all genres of music spanning 6 plus decades which includes Country, Jazz, Pop, Rock and acoustic standards. All delivered with our unique signature sound and arrangements yet, still identifiable to the originals. The Thompson Duo is for hire for private, corporate and public events located in any state.

Spanky’s Sports Bar and Grill, a cherished dining and entertainment hotspot since 2017, is thrilled to announce its upcoming move to a new location in Waterford. The much-anticipated move aims to provide its loyal patrons with the same great owners, same great staff, and the same great food and recipes, but in a larger, more accommodating venue that promises more room for more fun.
Founded by Karen and Matt Allen Spanky’s Sports Bar and Grill has grown from a modest beer and shot bar into a bustling hub for homemade thin-crust pizzas, hearty sandwiches, and mouthwatering burgers, all inspired by Matt’s foodie passion and his extensive travels. A testament to their success, Spanky’s has been repeatedly voted as one of the Best Pizzas in Racine County in 2021 and 2022 and often sees waits of over an hour for their delicious, in-demand pizzas.
The Thirsty Parrot brings a paradise island feel to the quiet community of Lake Como, Wisconsin. Located just next door to Legends and across the street from the Como Community Clubhouse, the Thirsty Parrot offers great cocktails and a tropical atmosphere. Oak Wine & Spirits was created with a simple goal: to bring something special and refined to downtown Waterford. What began as a vision for a wine bar quickly evolved into something more—a place defined not just by what’s in the glass, but by the atmosphere that surrounds it.

Veteran’s Park is the heart of downtown Elkhorn and is a great example of how nature can exist and thrive in an urban setting. The Park’s urban forest is a relaxing, peaceful spot that is enjoyed by both people and wildlife. Through thoughtful care and planning, the park’s forest can and will continue to be a great asset for all to use and enjoy.
Come join us for the afternoon with friends to raise money for our friend Dawn Marie! Dawn has recently received a very devastating cancer diagnosis. She has been hospitalized 5 times over the course of the last several months and is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment along with autoimmune therapy treatment. She is also trying to incorporate integrated treatment provided by a cancer center located in Skokie, IL. Dawn could really use some financial assistance to help cover the costs of this care. She will be in treatment for at least the next 7 months and then will probably require follow up treatment, therapy and tests for the remainder of her life. We are also looking for basket/silent raffle donations, so send a message to one of our hosts and we'll coordinate! Thank you and hug your loved ones tight!!

VISIT Lake Geneva and the City of Lake Geneva proudly welcome you to the 31st Annual Winterfest, presented by Discover Wisconsin, January 28 through February 1, 2026. Lake Geneva Winterfest is home to America's Snow Sculpting Invitational, where 15 of the most talented artists from around the U.S. and abroad will participate in an epic competition of skill and artistry.
Watch in wonder as teams begin their work on Wednesday, January 28, at Riviera Plaza and Flat Iron Park along the beautiful shore of Geneva Lake and finish on Saturday, January 31. Lake Geneva Winterfest is FREE to attend and view, and sculptures will remain on display through Sunday (and until they melt).
